Study towards the RHS General Certificate

The RHS General Certificate is well recognised within the industry and students who achieve it will be well placed to progress onto further courses or into employment. This course is over 100 years old and still as popular as ever.
The course is ideal for the dedicated amateur gardener who wished to extend their knowledge and perhaps achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

This is a broad ranging course taught ½ day a week over 6 terms and covers the full spectrum of horticultural subjects. It is ideal for beginners or for those with some experience.

Achievement on this course is through 2 nationally set written examinations taken in June 2007 (Module 1) and June 2008 (Module 2) and the level of knowledge expected is equivalent to a good level of pass in a GCSE science subject.
